Darmstadt invites you to the first ever Darmstadt Swing Exchange!
As part of the Sister City Festival Week 2018, we invite all swing dancers to join us for a weekend full of dance in the cultural center of the German Jugendstil.
The city of Darmstadt celebrates the anniversaries of several partnerships with cities all over Europe. As exchanges are an honored tradition in both city partnerships and swing dance, we want to join the celebrations with our favorite thing: dancing!
In cooperation with the local cultural center Centralstation, we’ll be offering a varied program between the 7th and 10th of June, designed to bring together swing dancing and city exploring. Each of the parties will take place in a different quarter, so that you’ll get to see some of the best spots in Darmstadt.
We would love to show you our city and get to know you. We’d be especially happy to see dancers from the celebrated sister cities Alkmaar, Graz, Liepaja, Plock, Trondheim and Troyes, but you definitely don’t have to be from one of them to come and dance with us!
